It is like having a new computer!
Faced with a Windows XP re-install due to unresolvable virus issues, I took the opportunity to finally upgrade the memory in my Dell Dimension 2400 from 256MB to 1GB. One of the modules that I received was defective. I notified Amazon and I had a hassle-free replacement the next day! My computer now performs better than it has ever performed. I am quite pleased with Amazon's exceptional customer service as well.
Great Investment
I have an aging T3256 E-Machine computer. It was becomming slower and slower by the day, perhaps due to all the security software that had been loaded into it. I really needed and was considering purchasing a new computer. On an impulse, I purchased 2 compatible Kingston 1GB RAM chips from Amazon to replace my pathetic 512MB. What a difference! Night and day! Functions that were taking 30 seconds or more or even causing lock ups are now taking 2-3...
